Dried and ground Pyrethrum chrysanthemum flowers were noted to be powerful pyrethroid insecticides in ancient China but it took until the middle of the twentieth century for the first improved analogues of the natural pyrethrin active ingredients to be commercially synthesized. The early generation of synthetic pyrethroids did have some drawbacks, mostly due to their poor stability in sunlight. Further work enabled the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) in the UK to produce light-stable pyrethroids. Subsequently, “optimized” light-stable pyrethroids were developed with increased potency and improved insecticidal spectrum. Lambda-cyhalothrin, formulated as NEU-LAMDA, represents the leading edge in pyrethroid development as supported by its wide acceptance by farmers and regulatory authorities worldwide.

Plenty-Lamda 5 EC can be used for all kinds of spraying machines. The receptacle of the spraying machine is half filled with water. The amount of pesticide estimated for one receptacle is mixed with water in a separate holder and poured into the machine’s receptacle. Mixing mechanism of the machine is kept working continuously and water is added until the receptacle is full
